What is personal data? Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally, such as name, address, email address, phone number, etc. When visiting the website, technical data is also collected, such as IP address and internet access provider.
What data does IPA process? IPA collects and processes master data and metadata as well as other personal data disclosed by you within the contractual relationship and by third parties as part of identity, legal capacity and creditworthiness checks.
Master data: name, residential address, academic title, phone number, contact information, information about the type and content of the contractual relationship and creditworthiness data. For companies, this also includes company name, address and commercial register number. IPA deletes master data no later than seven years after all claims arising from the contractual relationship have been settled.
Metadata: data used to route a message or invoice the process, such as subscriber numbers, device, charge code, minutes, type/date/time/duration of a connection, data volume, routes, protocol and networks.
Telephony and data services: master and traffic data are processed to establish, control and invoice telecommunications connections.
Operational purposes: IPA processes metadata for troubleshooting, network demand analyses, performance analyses, network expansion, offer optimization and fraud prevention. These are deleted or anonymized after no more than six months.
Transfer of personal data to third parties: IPA works with various service providers and partners who may also obtain access to technical systems and data for troubleshooting.
Orders, contract conclusion and identity: For orders and contract documents, IPA processes, among other things, first and last name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, ID number or commercial register extract and bank details. When a contract is concluded, IPA may verify identity and carry out a credit check.
Billing: For accounting, business and legal reasons, master data and metadata of customers and suppliers are processed, analyzed and retained. Invoices and itemized call records are stored in accordance with statutory periods.
Payment: For SEPA direct debit, IPA works with banks; data is transmitted in encrypted form. Consent to direct debit can be revoked.
Directory entry: When concluding a contract, customers may consent to inclusion in subscriber directories; this consent can be revoked.
Harassment and emergencies: In cases of harassment by callers, IPA can enable a chargeable call tracing service. For emergency calls, IPA is required to provide master and location data to emergency services upon request. IPA cooperates with surveillance and information requests regarding communications data in accordance with legal provisions.
Communication and information: Advertising is provided only with express consent or via double opt-in. Contractually important information is provided by email, phone, post or invoice. IPA does not use profiling.
IPA business customers: For invitations to customer events, master data is processed and may be transferred to partner agencies.
Google Analytics: The website uses Google Analytics with cookies, IP anonymization and opt-out options. Users can prevent cookie storage or use a browser plugin or opt-out cookie.
